The brief
Corning wanted to show how fusion glass is made, from batch and melting through forming, finishing, inspection and delivery. NXT Level Studio designed it, produced the 3D factory and managed the client relationship. We built it.
The approach
Visitors explore a cutaway factory and move between areas of the process, each move playing a rendered video. The challenge was linking many clips so the tour feels like one continuous space, with no pauses or jumps between areas.

Live on corning.com in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
One journey, five languages
Seamless video
We preload the next video before it's needed and blend each clip into the next with a short crossover, so moving between areas plays as one unbroken shot.
Fast-loading video
We spent a long time testing compression settings to find the point where the renders still looked right but loaded quickly.
Five languages
Every label and panel switches between English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese from the globe menu.
Works in WeChat
It also had to run inside WeChat's in-app browser for audiences in China.
